Info About Horst Biewald & Boarisch Groove
The “Boarisch Groove” has accompanied me from the beginning: Already when I was born in 1963, I “sang” long and loud to test my vocal apparatus. At the age of 7, I yodeled my first melodies at the foot of the famous “Monte Promillo” in Andechs. After school, I went on to get my master’s degree in precision mechanics in tool and machine construction and continued to go on longer and further journeys to satisfy wanderlust, to feel a love of life and to broaden my horizons.
To live the meaning of our existence is No. 1 for me. Accordingly, I have made the decisions and the course has been set. The guitar and singing were my constant companions, partly self-taught and partly with good teachers in private lessons and workshops I have also developed these skills further. Über die Jahre entstanden eigene Lieder, die 2008 auf dem Album “Boarisch Groove” veröffentlicht wurden.
My Songs & What Drives Me
Several songs have made it to radio and television, especially the yodelled Chiemgaureggae is even played beyond the state borders.
Since 1990 I have been self-employed as a master precision mechanic, musician, lecturer, artisan and consultant, and I am always happy to be able to accompany my fellow men in interesting and varied projects.
What else is there to say? I love nature, I am married and have three children and I have the greatest fulfillment and the most fun helping the people around me and myself to more joy of life, health, knowledge and success.fell
That’s why I have my yodeling seminars!
The Yodel Emperor of Bergen & Boarisch Groove
My friend Josef Ecker discovered me as a youth teacher, trained me and gave me great encouragement. The yodel emperor is retiring in 2023 and has given me, as his successor, the honorable task of taking over some of his event formats.
Many thanks for your friendship, dear Josef!
Boarisch Groove
Boarisch Groove is my all around homemade music. Everything that grooves – country, reggae, funk, blues, rock, etc. – is created in Bavarian dialect and from the gut feeling, from life.
Just like the accompanying song “Boarisch Groove” – here as a live recording – which actually already explains the most important thing. Maybe even everything…
